Megan Neel’s career in healthcare spans 20 years. She currently works as a corporate compliance attorney focusing on matters involving PhRMA, Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, and HIPAA. Megan routinely assists providers in crisis, particularly as it relates to HIPAA breaches and fraud reporting.

Megan provides a host of services to a broad range of clients, including small medical practices, home health agencies, and large medical centers. Some of the services Megan offers include practice startup and management, HIPAA compliance training, the handling of non-compete negotiation & other employment matters, as well as entity formation and dissolution. 

Megan received a Bachelor of Science degree in sociology focused on health outcomes from the University of Houston. Megan then attended the University of Houston Law Center, a consistent Top 5 nationally ranked health law program and interned at several landmark institutions located in the world-renowned Texas Medical Center during her legal studies. Upon graduation, Megan worked as in-house legal counsel for an ambulatory surgery center before entering private practice.
